About Us
How We Put the Philosophy Into Practice
Our standards guide both the technical work and the relationships surrounding it.

Responsive by Design
Responsiveness is not treated as an occasional courtesy. It is built into how we receive requests, communicate next steps, and keep people informed while work is underway.

Proactive Through Discipline
Strive manages environments against hundreds of documented technology standards and reviews progress regularly. This structured approach helps uncover gaps, establish accountability, and move technology forward over time.

Clear in Every Conversation
We explain technology in business terms rather than expecting clients to decode technical language. Leadership conversations focus on priorities, tradeoffs, and decisions that support how the organization actually operates.

Respectful of the Mission
We want to understand why each organization exists and what its people are trying to accomplish. That context helps us provide recommendations that fit the work instead of forcing every client into the same template.
Why Strive Exists
Tim Singleton founded Strive Technology Consulting in 2006 after building a reputation as a skilled technology troubleshooter. He saw that organizations needed more than someone who could fix a computer. They needed clear answers, consistent follow-through, and thoughtful guidance from people who understood how technology affected their daily work.
Too many organizations were waiting days for callbacks, reporting the same recurring problems, or receiving technical recommendations without enough business context. Tim built Strive around a different standard: disciplined technology management paired with respectful, plain-English communication. That philosophy continues to shape how our team solves problems, documents environments, and discusses long-term priorities with leadership.
Today, Strive Technology Consulting works with small and midsized organizations across Boulder, Denver, and Colorado’s Front Range, as well as distributed teams throughout the country. We are especially drawn to organizations whose work improves lives or contributes to a stronger community. Our role is to help their people depend on technology without having to supervise every technical detail themselves.
